Book Review: National Geographic’s Complete Guide to Pet Health, Behavior, and Happiness

We have 3 rescued cats – Lady, Stripes, and Lulu. They’re healthy for the most part, but there’s a lot I don’t know about pet health. At some point, we’d love to have a dog. That’s why when I was offered the opportunity to review National Geographic’s Complete Guide to Pet Health, Behavior, and Happiness, I was happy to do so.

The book is divided into six parts:

  • Animal Happiness and Responsible Pet Ownership
  • Everyday Pet Health and Nutrition
  • Pet Behavior and Training
  • Emergencies and disaster Preparedness
  • Common Health Issues
  • Diagnostics, Aging, and Holistic Medicine

The guide, like anything you’d expect National Geographic to put out, is beautifully illustrated. Learn how to keep pets safe, what kind of vet care they need, and how to make sure your furry family member is living his or her best life.
